The Stations of the Cross, also ‘The Way of the Cross,’ began in medieval Europe as a way for Jesus followers to take a figurative pilgrimage to the Holy Land without leaving their home country. Artistic works of Christ’s journey to Calvary are placed in succession, either inside a church building, or outdoors. Worshipers then walk the route, stopping in prayer and devotion at each ‘station.’
On Good Friday, 3 - 8pm, we join Christ followers around the world, and across the centuries, in the meditative beauty of this ancient practice. We will gather for worship in song at 7:00pm.
This is not a performance. It’s a sacred experience.
You don’t need to be religious. You don’t need all the answers.
Just come with your questions, your grief, your longing, or your wonder.
