Common Hymnal • in Concert

Common Hymnal is a musical collective that "channels an ecosystem of displaced creatives from the margins of Christianity towards a justice-centered movement in which praise and protest live side by side."

Common Hymnal started as an online library of songs, stories, and ideas from the spiritual underground, to help people navigate these uncertain times and find safe passage into the future. In fact, Highway sings some of Common Hymnals music, most often the song "The Kingdom is Yours".

The event will be hosted in East Palo Alto by our ministry partner, Hope Horizon EPA, and is sure to be an evening of musical and community celebration!

Tentative schedule:
5:30-7:30 outdoor dinner - Mexican (Roberto's Tacos) and West African (Ruth's Buka)
6:30-7:00 outdoor repertoire - spontaneous, unplugged, neighborhood block party, kids participation
7:00-7:30 coffee/tea and dessert break - spectrum of global flavors
7:30-8:30 indoor repertoire - festive, up close and personal, gamut of emotions

This event is free. Please RSVP for headcount.
All ages and backgrounds are welcome. Come as you are.
