Highway will be holding a clothing drive to support The Grateful Garment Project, a ministry to survivors of sexual violence. Please check out this story of a survivor, which illustrates the importance of this drive. Needed items are HERE and can be shipped via the registry or dropped off at Highway Campus at the Connect Table on Sunday, Feb 7 and Feb 15.
The story behind this project is that at Love in Action 2026 (which happened this past January) Highwayers learned and grew in awareness about what human trafficking looks like in the Bay Area. We heard how Love Never Fails, The Grateful Garment Project and Freedom Insight are making tangible differences in our communities. Also, volunteers assembled 600 essential hygiene kits for human trafficking survivors and individuals who are vulnerable to human trafficking. In addition, we created 100 Hotel Outreach packets. These packets, as well as signage, will be distributed to hotels to prevent trafficking around the Super Bowl.
