...in our journey following Jesus. At Highway we hold a high value for art and creativity as part of our individual and collective life together in community seeking God. We hope to craft spaces where artistic gifts can be nurtured and engaged with so as to bless the community.
As creations of a creative God, we are also made to be creative. This was not by accident. Artistic expression is one of the many ways that God empowers us to walk in faith, to encourage one another, and to engage in praise and worship. At Highway Community we value written, visual, and musical art as important parts of our corporate worship.
Art has the ability to speak to our hearts and minds in new and fresh ways, and we believe that God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, uses artistic gifts to move us, speak to us, and guide us.
