About Us

We believe Jesus Christ is at the center of every good thing and even though we’re still figuring a bunch of stuff out we’re compelled by the way of Jesus, seeking to build our community within Christ’s love, Christ’s invitation, and Christ’s inclusivity.

At Highway we embrace the tensions in faith believing that these are where God often meets us. We are an endlessly curious church and we believe the mysteries and doubts we encounter are just part of a real spiritual journey.

We’re busy, just like everyone else here in Silicon Valley, but we keep showing up for community because we are confident that God does uniquely beautiful things in the midst of a gathered people, even when the pieces of community don’t always fit together quite yet. 

We know that God has a call for us beyond our four walls, to build friendship with people from all walks of life and to honor the human dignity of those on the margins. We want to be about making peace and seeking justice in our communities and in our world.
