Bayshore Christian Ministries has been serving the community of East Palo Alto for over 25 years. Although mere steps from the affluent city of Palo Alto, East Palo Alto suffers from the long-term effects of systemic poverty. In a city often gripped by fear, violence, gangs, unemployment, and lack of infrastructure, BCM exists to bring a message of hope to the community. Working primarily with the youth of East Palo Alto through afterschool tutoring programs, Bible studies, and the development of young leaders, BCM teaches EPA students that they are valued, capable, and beloved children of God who can enact real change in their communities.

BCM is in need of afterschool tutors, volunteers, Bible study leaders, workshop leaders, youth group leaders, readers and financial donors.
